Events for the year 2019

Under the EBSB program, Hunar Haat Exhibition was held on 28th December, 2019 at MMRDA ground, BKC Kurla west.

On 23rd December, 2019, our B.Ed. students gave visit to Special Children School (i.e., Parel Poibawadi MPS School Sankul, Parel).

The Urmi Foundation was organized “Nareparkotsav Khadya Sanskruti” at the said school. Our B.Ed. students participated in the food programme.

On 14th December, 2019, our B.Ed students participated in Skill Development Program.

On 10th December, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated World Human Rights Day. Conducted Poster making competition, Elocution competition, speech on Human Rights.

On 7th December, 2019, Skill Development Program Conducted by Pidilite Group.

On 1st December, 2019, our B.Ed. students participated in Seminar on World AIDS Awareness Day.

On 30th November, 2019, our B.Ed. students participated in Seminar on women safety at Dr. BMN College of Home Science, Matunga.

On 26th November, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated Constitution Day. Conducted Poster making, Speeches, Pledge and Reading of Article 51(A) related to Constitution Day.

On 14th November, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated Children’s Day on the occasion of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Jayanti.

On 4th November, 2019, conducted Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme.

Following activities were held:

• Discussions

On 2nd November, 2019, Mr. Ashfaq Ahad sir (co-founder & member of Board at Fazlani Academy of Business Sciences) gave a motivational speech to our F.Y.B.Ed. students & also celebrated and pleadge for vigilance awareness week.

Diwali celebration was held on 27th October, 2019. On that day we took rangoli competition and Diya making competition.

On 19th October, 2019, our B.Ed students & Staff celebrated National Reading motivation day (on the occassion of Birth Anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam).

On 15th & 18th October, 2019, our B.Ed. Trainee Teachers attended educational visit at Special School at Gilder Lane.

On 12th October, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff gave visit to Nehru Science Centre Library and participated in the Heart & Craft of Storytelling activity.

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Institute of Nursing Education conducted a session on mental health promotion & suicide prevention for our B.Ed. Students which was held on 10th October, 2019.

On 2nd October, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated Gandhi Jayanti Divas.

On 30th September, 2019, College Of Nursing, Sir J.J Group Of Hospital organized a medical awareness camp for our B.Ed. Students.

On 15th September, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated International Peace Day alongwith students of College Of Nursing, Sir J.J Group Of Hospital.

On 14th September, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated Hindi Diwas.

Conducted Nature’s Walk at Kamala Nehru Park on 11th September, 2019.

On 5th September, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated Teacher’s Day.

On 22nd August, 2019, our B.Ed. Teacher trainees get selected for NSS Volunteers for SNDT Women’s University level Pre RD Camp.

Conducted Swachh Bharat Pakhwada at college campus from 16th August, 2019 to 31st August, 2019.

Following activities were conducted:

• Swachh Bharat Oath (pledge)
• Campus Cleaning
• Slogan Writing
• Debates

On 16th August, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated Sadbhavana Diwas (i.e., Pledge for the Day).

On 15th August, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrate 73rd Independence Day.

On 13th August, 2019, our B.Ed. Trainee Teachers attended educational visit at Special School at Gilder Lane & at Parel.

On 12th August, 2019, our B.Ed. students & staff celebrated International Youth Day & particpated in cleanliness drive at our college campus.

Conducted an Awareness program & Medical camp on “Thallasemia” on 6th August, 2019. It was conducted by Akhil Hind Mahila Parishad & Aishabai College of Education

Conducted poster making competition on women empowerment & health awareness on 27th July, 2019.

Our College Teaching Faculty’s team were participated in Conference on National Education Policy-2019: Focus on Teacher Education, & it was held on 25th July, 2019. It was conducted by SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.

Our College Teaching Faculty’s team were participated in Faculty Development Programme which was held between 12th July, 2019 to 16th July, 2019. It was conducted by SNDT Women’s University’s Department of Education & PVDT College of Education, Mumbai.

Conducted Poster Making Competition on the occasion of World Population Day which was held on 11th July, 2019

Anti-Tobacco Pledge program was held on 11th July 2019. B.Ed. students & staff were the participated and important message is to spread awareness about the harmful effects on health due to consumption of tobacco through cigarette and other modes.

Our Teachers participated in National Conference which held on 28th June, 2019. Conducted on Nai Talim by Dr. Sai Kiran from MGNRD.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day Celebration at SNDT WU Churchgate Campus, our B.Ed. students were participated in Essay Writing Competition, Elocution Competition & Yoga Activities Competition which was held on 28th June, 2019.

Celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2019.

3 Days Yoga Training Program conducted by SNDT Women’s University & which was held on 18th June, 2019 to 20th June, 2019 at SNDT Women’s University, Churchgate Campus.

On 5th June, 2019, our B.Ed. students celebrated World Environment Day at College campus. Students were participated in Slogan & Poster making competition.

Our B.Ed. Students were participated in Avahan Disaster Management Training Camp (NSS Activity) which was organized by Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University on 3rd June to 12th June, 2019 at Nanded

B.Ed. Students & staff gave Educational visit (NSS Activity) to Yusuf Meher Ali Centre, which was conducted on 23rd April, 2019.

Govt. nominees of Joint Director of Higher Education, Mumbai Region gave visit to our college on 22nd April, 2019

On 16th April, 2019, our B.Ed. Teachers trainee (i.e., Ms. Pinky Sharma, Ms. Kiran Chaudhari, Ms. Neelam Yadav & Ms. Jyoti Tanwar) get selection at Avahan Camp on Disaster Management Program on University Level.

On 13th April, 2019, our B.Ed. College celebrated Convocation Ceremony of graduating students, Annual Day & Prize Distribution.

LIC Committee of SNDT WU gave visit to College on 25th March, 2019.

At our College Campus, B.Ed. Students Celebrated Women’s Day & Traditional Day on 9th March, 2019. Also College conducted workshop on Women Empowerment.

Our College celebrated fun fair programme on 2nd March, 2019. We attempt to create an enabling environment, design to bring out individual & collective excellence in our student teachers.

Celebrated Saree Day on 28th February, 2019

Our B.Ed. NSS Camp visited at Shantivan Nere on 23rd February, 2019. They also visited at Aadhar Ghar, Ramkrishna Niketan Vrudhashram, Balwantrai Mehata Panchayat Raj Jagruti Kendra setup for Gram Vikas Shibir, Kushtrog Niwaran Samiti & Handicraft center, Parikshan Kendra, Snehalata Nisargopchar Kendra.

Card Making Competition was held on 21st February, 2019, at the college campus.

Mehendi Competition was held on 20th February, 2019, at the college campus.

On 16th February, 2019, Mr. Imran Khan, Resource Person of Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP), conducted Employability Training Programme (ETP) at College Campus.

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has introduced the concept of ‘Employability Training Programme (ETP)’ where in our youngsters get trained in pre-employment preparation. It has been developed to assist Job seekers find the ‘Right job’ at the ‘Right place’ at the ‘Right time’ and to become the ‘Right Fit’ in a present day modern organization. It aims to create awareness and groom young graduates who are aspiring to be professionals.

On 6th February, 2019, Our B.Ed. students – Sara Qureshi & Sakina Gandhi participated in teacher personality contest, which organized by Bombay teacher training college.

Sara Qureshi secured 1st runner up position in the contest.

On 2nd February, 2019, Expert Talk on Women Health by Dr. Nilam Sonawane & Dr. Kalpana Kamble.

On 1st February, 2019, Medical Camp & Health Checkup conducted by JJ Nursing College & Aishabai College of Education at College Campus.

On 1st February, 2019, Tabassum Shaikh, B.Ed. Student conducted session on Skill Development Programme.

On 29th & 30th January, 2019, our B.Ed. students gave a special visit at Ashadaan, Sankli Street, Byculla.

On 29th January, 2019, our B.Ed. students attended a Live Telecast about Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0 at College Campus

On 28th January, 2019, Seminar was conducted on Stress Management & Personality Development program

On 26th January, 2019, our B.Ed. College celebrated Republic Day.

On 25th January, 2019, our B.Ed. College conducted Exhibition on Career Guidance and Teaching Aids.

On 19th January, 2019, our B.Ed. College conducted Sports Day at JJ Campus. Both First & Second Year Students of B.Ed. Programme participated in indoor games like lemon and spoon race, potato race, book balancing race, carom, chess and tug of war.

On 12th January, 2019, our B.Ed. Trainee Teachers celebrated Youth Day

From B.Ed. College, our two F.Y.B.Ed. student, Crystal Valladares & Tasneem Mustafa Karu participated in Tejaswini Contest which was held on 12th January, 2019 & organized by SNDT Women University.

On 5th January, 2019, Workshop conducted on inclusive education & about Meta-cognition by Drusti Social Enterprise. Resource persons were Vasundhara Kaul, Vipra Dave and Gauri Malhotra
